Worth knowing first
MOHAP structures its route as two separate paid services: a professional evaluation first, then licensing through the employing facility. Its evaluation conditions state that candidates should pass all prescribed examinations where applicable — so whether an assessment applies is settled at the evaluation stage.
Evaluation is charged at AED 500 for physicians and dentists, AED 400 for nurses and midwives, and AED 300 for allied health and TCAM, with a stated duration of five working days.
MOHAP states a limit of three years without practice for evaluation, and two years for licensing. Clearing one does not automatically clear the other.
MOHAP calculates experience from when your professional licence was issued, not from graduation.
MOHAP requires documents verified by an accepted third-party agency such as DataFlow.
Next step
Get through evaluation first — it establishes whether an assessment applies to your category at all, and it is the stage that determines your route.
