UAE healthcare verification guidance
Starting PSV, transferring a report or resolving a verification issue? Identify the regulator, the documents already covered and the exact next action before paying for another service.
Read the case before choosing the next service
Keep three questions separate: what has been verified, what still needs a response, and what the licensing authority requires next. A payment receipt or a completed report cannot answer all three.
Open the request and identify the exact document, page or permission needed. Keep a copy of your reply and its date. A general message asking for an update does not supply the missing evidence.
Read the reason for the affected credential. An unresponsive issuer requires a different response from an incomplete submission. Identify the records office and evidence that addresses the stated obstacle.
Compare the report finding with the original record. If you dispute it, gather supporting evidence about that finding and check appeal eligibility. Do not replace or alter an issued document to make it match an application.
Check every component and the intended recipient before moving on. Keep the report reference with your application records, then return to the relevant authority pathway.

Verification explained
PSV means primary source verification. In healthcare licensing, it can be used to validate professional documents with the issuing organisation or source before a licensing authority proceeds with the relevant review.
DataFlow may be part of a verification workflow for particular UAE healthcare authority pathways. The relevant package, documents and next step depend on the authority and individual case.
UAEHealthPro can guide preparation and route clarity, but does not control the verification process or outcome.
What it costs and how long it takes
Check the verification package separately from authority registration and licensing fees. The tables distinguish a new report from transfer or linking services, and name the source for each figure.
| Authority | What you pay for | Amount | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DHA — Dubai | Transferring an existing PSV report to DHA | AED 300 | Official | DHA’s current FAQ states this for reports issued by other authorities. Additional or updated documents may need verification. The FAQ separately describes free linking for DHA reports issued after 2017; confirm the applicable service before paying. |
| MOHAP — UAE | Primary Source Verification (DataFlow) | Shown for your selected package | Official | DataFlow prices depend on the verification package and additional documents. Issuing institutions may charge separately; confirm the amount in the application portal. |
| DOH — Abu Dhabi | Primary Source Verification (DataFlow) | Shown for your selected package | Official | DataFlow prices depend on the verification package and additional documents. Issuing institutions may charge separately; confirm the amount in the application portal. |
| CDA — Dubai | CDA DataFlow verification | Shown for your selected package | Official | DataFlow prices depend on the verification package and additional documents. Issuing institutions may charge separately; confirm the amount in the application portal. |

| Authority | Stage | How long | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DHA — Dubai | Primary Source Verification — new report | 15 working days | Official | DHA’s current FAQ states this from payment for a new PSV report. This is a published estimate, not a guaranteed deadline; confirm the case-specific timing with DataFlow. |
| DHA — Dubai | Transferring an existing PSV report | 5 working days | Official | DHA’s current FAQ states five working days from payment. Updated documents may need further verification; report transfer does not itself approve a professional licence. |
| MOHAP — UAE | Primary Source Verification | Usually 15–25 working days | Official | DataFlow’s standard estimate after payment and complete documents. Missing items or delayed responses from issuing institutions can extend this; it is not the licensing authority’s decision time. |
| DOH — Abu Dhabi | Primary Source Verification | Usually 15–25 working days | Official | DataFlow’s standard estimate after payment and complete documents. Missing items or delayed responses from issuing institutions can extend this; it is not the licensing authority’s decision time. |

Who may need it
Healthcare professionals may need to consider verification when preparing a licensing pathway, professional evaluation, registration, transfer or other authority-related application.
Document readiness
The documents relevant to a verification case can vary by authority and professional route. Common examples may include the following.
Authority context
Verification requirements and processes are authority-specific. A professional should not assume that the same verification route, report or transfer option applies in every authority pathway.
Verification can be relevant to professional registration and the current DHA pathway.
DHA guidanceProfessional evaluation and licensing routes may require verification context.
MOHAP guidanceVerification may be relevant to the individual professional licensing route.
DOH guidanceCheck the applicable professional and facility-linked licensing context.
SHA guidanceSocial care professional cases may follow a distinct authority route.
CDA guidanceConfirm the current DHCC, DHCA and DHA-related pathway before relying on a previous route.
DHCC guidanceNew versus transfer
Whether an existing report can be used, transferred or needs a different verification route depends on the authority, report details, current requirements and individual professional case.
For DHA, the current FAQ lists AED 300 to transfer reports from other authorities and a separate free linking route for DHA reports issued after 2017. Updated documents may still need verification. Check which service applies before paying.
A profile review can help identify the relevant route to explore before you pay for a new verification or make assumptions about a transfer.

Read DataFlow’s verification FAQs, DHA’s PSV FAQs and the DHA Get Registered service before submitting. These sources describe different services; a report, an eligibility assessment and an active licence are separate steps.
Prepare carefully
Starting verification before confirming the intended authority and professional pathway.
Beginning without checking which professional documents are relevant to the case.
Using a professional title or category that does not match the intended licensing application.
Providing experience information without clear dates, role context or recency.
Assuming a previous report can be used everywhere without checking current authority requirements.
Assuming a positive verification outcome or a particular timeline before independent review.

DataFlow FAQs
DataFlow checks submitted credentials with their issuing sources. The report supports an application; the licensing authority separately decides whether your profile meets its requirements.
Use the tracking portal linked from DataFlow’s official website. Have your case number and the passport number registered with the case ready, and inspect the individual document results.
It is not the same outcome as Discrepancy. DataFlow explains that Unable to Verify can arise when a source cannot be contacted or does not cooperate. Read the report reason before deciding what evidence to provide.
Read the affected component and the issuing source’s finding. If you dispute the result, use DataFlow’s appeal process with evidence addressing that finding. A consultancy cannot change the verification outcome.
An appeal concerns the same documents originally submitted. DataFlow directs new or different documents to the additional-document process; check the applicable charge before proceeding.
DataFlow publishes a one-time free appeal within 180 calendar days of report issue for eligible Unable to Verify or Discrepancy cases. Insufficient-information closures are excluded from the free route; confirm your case eligibility in the official portal.
DataFlow offers report transfer or re-issuance. Compare the documents already verified with the destination regulator’s requirements before paying; missing or newer credentials can still need verification.
DataFlow gives a usual range of 15–25 working days after payment and complete submission. Issuer response delays or missing information can extend it. This is not the total time to obtain a licence.
No. The selected package, extra documents and any issuing-source charges affect the cost. Check what your quoted package covers before comparing it with another applicant’s payment.
DHA allows PSV and a required CBT to proceed in parallel. Its registration stage still depends on completion of the prerequisites. Follow your authority’s sequence rather than extending this DHA rule to every route.
