Previous attempts and appointment changes
Record every earlier UAE authority assessment with its date, title and outcome. DHA’s July 2025 licensing manual requires the attempt history to be declared. Any further-attempt permission must come from the authority; changing a booking programme is not evidence of permission.
Prometric’s DHA programme page publishes a no-refund policy and conditional rescheduling. Read those terms before payment. If your identification or appointment details differ, use the official support channel while there is still time to clarify the issue.

How do I find the right DHA exam for my title?
Check the official Mode of Exam per Specialty lookup for your intended title, then the applicable CBT specification or oral assessment instructions. Do not select an exam solely because its name resembles your overseas job title.
Is Prometric a licensing authority?
No. Prometric delivers examinations for relevant programmes. The regulator determines licensing eligibility and requirements; a booking or a test result is not a professional licence.
Does every applicant need the same assessment?
No. Assessment mode and any exemption depend on the title, profile and authority rules. DHA provides a title-specific lookup; verify your own route before buying preparation material.
Does an exam exemption remove DataFlow or experience requirements?
No. DHA’s assessment manual limits an exam exemption to the examination requirement. Credentialing, experience, verification and other licensing requirements still apply.
Do I get three fresh attempts by changing authority?
Do not assume an attempt reset. DHA requires disclosure of attempts across UAE authorities. Its manual describes three attempts and a possible fourth by permission, with restrictions including Tier 3 consultant upgrades. Ask for an authority decision before rebooking.
What if I have already failed three DHA assessments?
Stop and review your recorded attempt history with DHA. Its licensing manual describes a two-year block after a third failure and conditional routes for further attempts; paying for another booking does not establish permission to sit it.
Can I get a refund or reschedule my DHA Prometric appointment?
Prometric’s DHA programme page publishes a no-refund policy, including for illness and name discrepancies. Rescheduling is subject to programme conditions. Check the current terms before payment or changing travel plans.
My booking name does not match my ID. What should I do?
Contact the official booking provider before the appointment and follow its correction process. Keep the appointment confirmation and the exact discrepancy available. Do not assume the test centre can resolve it on the day.
How should I choose study material?
Match it to your confirmed title, assessment mode and published syllabus. Practice questions should be learning tools; claims of official or leaked live questions do not establish that a resource is authorised.
Can I start work after passing the exam?
Passing addresses an assessment requirement. Complete the authority’s remaining registration and licensing steps, including facility activation where applicable, before treating the result as permission to practise.
