Authority and title
Target authority, professional category, title and specialty context.
Profile-based eligibility guidance
Start with the title you want to practise under. We help compare your qualifications, dated experience and registration history with the relevant requirements, then identify what needs evidence or an authority decision before you spend on an application.
Who this service is for
Healthcare professionals and facilities seeking a clearer view of the potential UAE authority pathway before an application, verification or assessment step.
Prepare a profile that can be assessed
“I have a degree and five years of experience” leaves important questions unanswered. Organise your information around the role you intend to hold, then mark each point as documented, missing or awaiting authority clarification.
On a small screen, scroll across the table to read all three columns.
| Review point | Write down | Question to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Role and setting | Intended title, specialty, emirate and facility type. | Which regulator and professional category cover this work? |
| Qualification | Full award name, institution, country, dates and relevant internship or training. | Which title requirement does the award need to meet? |
| Experience | Each employer, role, start/end date and the nature of practice. | Which periods are relevant to the title, and what evidence supports them? |
| Registration | Issuing body, title, registration dates and current status. | Does the registration history align with the work history? |
| Previous applications | Authority, requested title, exam attempts and the exact decision or request. | What remains unresolved before another application? |
What to do with the review
For each unresolved point, record the evidence needed, who can provide it and which authority service can decide it. Keep a missing document separate from a qualification that may not meet the intended title.
For DHA, the free self-assessment is preliminary. An eligible result leads towards registration requirements; a not-eligible result can be considered through the paid manual review route. Follow the official instructions and answer accurately rather than changing the profile to obtain a different result.

Sharing qualification or experience information that is no longer current.
Not accounting for time out of clinical practice, which can trigger extra requirements.

PQR Eligibility Assessment FAQs
It compares your intended healthcare title with qualification, experience and professional registration requirements. Prepare a dated career history; a degree name alone cannot establish eligibility.
MOHAP, DOH Abu Dhabi, DHA and SHA jointly publish the unified healthcare PQR. Their application services and additional requirements still need separate checking.
A CDA social care application needs the CDA category and qualification rules. Do not treat a healthcare PQR match as confirmation of CDA eligibility; identify the intended role and facility first.
No. Our initial assessment is independent guidance. An official authority review, registration or licence is a separate application with its own requirements.
DHA provides a paid Review Registration Eligibility route for manual consideration. Check your answers and intended title, then follow the official service instructions. A manual review does not guarantee approval.
No. Verification and title eligibility answer different questions. A verified qualification or employment record still needs to meet the requirements of the title you apply for.
Yes, preparation can identify missing evidence or experience. Record completed employment separately from expected future service; a plan to gain experience is not evidence that you already have it.
Give the last date you practised, the nature of that work, your registration history and any later training. Gap requirements depend on the authority, category and circumstances; do not rely on one threshold for every route.
Do not assume so. Ask for the exemption provision applicable to your exact title and credential, including its conditions. An eligibility review should flag the question for the authority, not promise an exemption.
Provide the intended role and emirate, qualification and graduation year, internship where relevant, dated experience, latest practice and licence history. The initial website form does not require document uploads.
