Before accepting an offer or buying training
CDA’s licensing training circular of 14 March 2023 includes Learning Support Teacher; CDA has since moved its site and the circular is no longer online, so confirm the current position on its licensing service page. It is a dated notice, not a current intake calendar. Confirm the programme, eligibility and certificate arrangements before paying; do not assume a general SEND or classroom-support course meets that requirement.
Before CDA will license you
CDA requires anyone applying as a Learning Support Teacher to enrol in an intensive training programme at the British University in Dubai, and to submit the university's training certificate with the application. The programme is a prerequisite: it is finished before the file goes to CDA, not after. The same applies to Assistant Psychologist, Behavioral Analyst and Assistant Behavioral Analyst.
Other categories follow the professional licensing examination route. Before purchasing exam preparation, confirm the current instructions for your title with CDA and the university. Ask for the next training intake, entry requirements and certificate arrangements; course availability does not establish your licensing eligibility.

Learning Support Teacher is one of the four categories CDA sends to the British University in Dubai for an intensive training programme, and the training certificate is a prerequisite to applying. Revising for CDA's examination instead means arriving without a document the application needs.

The British University in Dubai training programme your category requires is charged by the university.
