Pharmacy revision with a purpose

Separate a knowledge gap from a method error

Two incorrect practice answers can need very different follow-up. One may need subject reading; another may need a clearer calculation setup. Label the problem before choosing the next exercise.

On a phone, scroll the table sideways to read the complete review method.

What went wrong? What to recordNext learning task
Unfamiliar conceptThe topic and the distinction you could not explain.Read the relevant reference, then explain the idea without the answer choices.
Calculation setupThe requested quantity, units used and the step where your setup differed from the explanation.Work through a different study example, showing each step and checking units.
Misread conditionThe detail you missed and the assumption you made instead.Practise identifying the information that changes the question before selecting an answer.
Unclear rule or sourceThe jurisdiction, source date and point that needs clarification.Check the applicable reference rather than reusing a rule from another country.

Use study exercises for learning, not as patient-specific treatment or dispensing instructions.

Choose the right reference

Similar subjects do not make two titles interchangeable

The September DHA guideline has separate Pharmacist and Clinical Pharmacy entries. Use the entry for your confirmed assessment and check its coverage and reading references before choosing a pack.

Illustrative situation: a resource explains a topic well but targets a different authority. Keep the useful subject explanation, then separately verify the intended assessment coverage and any local-rule content. A general “Gulf pharmacy” label does not answer those questions.

Worth knowing first

Connect Pharmacy Preparation to the Intended Title

Match the qualification and intended role to the title before choosing assessment material. The published Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Technician entries are separate references.

Keep title evidence separate

An employer job label or course name does not determine the licensing title. Clarify any mismatch before paying for preparation.

Track verification requests

Qualification and registration records serve the application. Keep requests and responses alongside the relevant reference number.

Read the applicable specification

Use the code and coverage for the intended assessment. Similar subject lists do not make the titles interchangeable.

Plan the next learning task

Use practice errors to choose a specific topic or method to revisit, rather than measuring preparation only by questions completed.

Next step

Choose the next topic deliberately

Start with one unresolved learning gap, select a suitable reference and plan how you will check understanding later.

Checked 20 September 2026. DHA states it may activate or de-activate a specialty assessment and change its content, format or pass score without updating this guideline. Confirm the specification for your own specialty before you book.

We do not sell exam questions. What is published above is DHA’s own specification, transcribed from its CBT Assessment Guideline. Confirm the current assessment route for your exact title before booking. An entry in this dated specification reference does not by itself establish your eligibility or current booking instruction.

Pharmacy study questions

DHA Pharmacy Preparation Questions

Are Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician the same preparation route?

No. Use the specification attached to the intended title. A shared pharmacy label does not establish the same qualification requirements, assessment reference or professional scope.

Where is the official Pharmacist CBT reference?

The September 2026 DHA guideline lists Pharmacist under PHO5481 on PDF page 114. Its Clinical Pharmacy entry is PHO5482 on page 90. Confirm the applicable title and current instruction before booking.

Can I use a clinical-pharmacy pack for the Pharmacist exam?

Compare the pack with your exact specification. Overlapping topics may be useful, but a different title label does not demonstrate complete coverage or the same assessment requirements.

How should I review mistakes in practice calculations?

Record the requested quantity, your setup, units and the step where the error occurred. Check the explanation against the relevant reference, then try a different example. Keep these as study exercises, not patient-care instructions.

Should I memorise brand names from question banks?

Check what the applicable reference requires. A useful practice review explains the underlying concept; recognising a familiar label alone may not show that you understand the question.

Can pharmacy-law notes from another country be reused?

Do not assume another jurisdiction’s rules apply in the UAE. Label the jurisdiction and source date of legal notes and use current applicable references when reviewing that subject.

What makes an explained question useful?

It identifies the relevant concept, explains the answer and lets you check a source. Review correct guesses as well as wrong answers, since both may reveal an unresolved gap.

Does an exam pass make my qualification eligible?

No. Qualification review, verification and assessment are separate requirements. Study progress does not resolve an uncertain title or missing application evidence.

Are pharmacy notes available to download here?

This page provides a revision framework and published specification references. No pharmacy question-bank download is offered here; catalogue entries show their own availability.

How should I judge readiness after a mock test?

Look at coverage, repeated errors, guesses and unfinished questions alongside the score. A commercial mock result is not an official pass prediction.
