What UAE Employers Expect From Pharmacists
Pharmacy roles are regulated by the same authorities as clinical roles, and the emirate decides which one applies. Community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and clinical pharmacy can sit under different titles, and the title you register under shapes what you are permitted to do.
Title and scope are linked
Pharmacist, pharmacy technician and assistant roles are separate categories with separate requirements. Applying under the wrong one wastes both the fee and the wait.
MOHAP charges evaluation separately
Under MOHAP, evaluation and licensing are two distinct paid services. Allied health and pharmacy evaluation is charged at AED 300, and the licence fee follows afterwards.
Verification precedes everything
Your degree, experience and registration are verified with the issuing bodies before an authority will decide your case.
